Kevin I´m not shure if there is a market for those code 3 models.
In Ebay there are often repainted models for sale but nobody buys them.

Well, at a show with people walking about it is highly unlikely there would be many more code 3 type models to compete with yours but as you say on ebay, they hardly move because there are so many to choose from!

I enjoyed looking at these customs. There's a guy on YouTube with a series called 'Marty's Matchbox Makeovers" which is very good. I prefer to make my models look older, more battered and rusty. I'm adding years of time to them.

Hello,

after a long time I made a new custom model.
This Bluebird Cavalier had very little paint left, no tyres no axle, the door and the two hitch where gone as well.
The door is a spare part which doesn´t fit in exactly the tow hitch is made of a copper sheet.

And in my world a caravan needs to be white.

Yes the picture was taken in the UK.
Last year the family spend there holiday in Germany where they caused some confusion on the roads - thats why they decided to stay in the UK this year.

Great to see your custom models as always Stephan!
Nicely done!
Did you choose to replace the “on tow” decal on the back or perhaps a collection of bumper stickers from the lands the caravan has visited?

Thanks Kurt.
I will replace the "on Tow" sign if there is a spare label for it but I´m not sure yet.

Hi Stephan I have finally caught up looking through your custom models thread. I have to say all the models look great with your keen eye and attention to detail. It’s great when you can customise a model which is looking tired and worn out. :D
Kindest Regards

Kevin
