This van came from our member's ebay auction, thanks moston100. It has only the ladder and the TVs. I bought an other one which has the aerial, the box came from a local collector. Now it is complete :D :D

In the last months I bought two of RW14C Lomas Ambulance both with SPW. One of them is off white, the other is white. The white has the interesting casting variation which Nick showed us on his page in the last photo :D :D

Very nice, Peter. I really like the Bedford Lomas ambulance. I think all the ambulances with the roof cross casting also have the sharper interior roof that follows the lines of the ambulance sign, like in your final picture (I have five - two with black wheels, two with silver, and one with grey). I don't have any others with this roof interior so it's possible that it was changed when the roof cross was removed, but somehow I doubt it.

Which base do these have?

1) Making changes simultaneously does not seem to have been the Lesney way, and
2) One change affected the exterior of the bodyshell, the other the interior. Hence there would be no need to make both alterations at exactly the same time.

Hi Glenn,

The off white with smooth roof casting has no rond block floor base.

The white one with x-guide roof casting has the round block floor base.

Cheers, Peter

With 8 kids you still find the time for Matchbox.
How do you do that?
