this just in...local authorities are still looking into reports of several loud bangs coming from the area of the Village Green, late last week.

Details are still sketchy... But this reporter has learned, that a grainy photo of a possible suspect, was turned in by a young couple who,"happend to be hiding in some bushes", at the time of the incident. There have also been reports, that investigators, have found a small triangular cucumber sandwhich nearby, possibly left behind by the perpetrator.

Also, in a possibly related incident. A duck has been reported missing from the pond at the far end of the Green... a local Nanny has made a statement. The Nanny said, that at approximately 4:32 PM, she saw a man dressed as a butler scampering through in the vicinity of the pond, mumbling something to the effect of," If I don't get a duck it's going to be me on the plate" However we have learned that local authorities are taking the Nannys statements with a grain of salt, as apparently an empty bottle of expensive champagne was found, in the baby buggy the Nanny was pushing.

Finally the town Vicar reported, that he saw a Rolls Royce speeding from the area shortly after the incident of the loud bangs. Said the Vicar, "He must have been going at least 35 mph! it scared the bejesus out of me, I made the sign of the cross as he flashed by."

Risqué photo briefly appears in the jokes section of the forum

Apparently a several members of the forum experienced temporary blindness and several more were wishing too, after the risqué photo was posted in the jokes section of the forum.

The photo was subsequently removed by one of the ever vigilant local constables, for greater good humanity and order was quickly restored, before a mob of curious on-lookers could gather.

The self proclaimed perpetrator of the act, has acknowledged the error of his ways.
He has received a full pardon, along with several requests, for a copy of said photo.

Late reports just coming in, indicate that the aforementioned photo, could have possibly been a selfie. We just like to say that if this turns out to be true, the full pradon will be revoked along with any requests for a copy of the photo.

Can I just add, the 'VBD Times' office has several copies of the offending picture, but it must be made clear hear, this is only for research purposes, so some of the senior staff members have been allowed to take One Home, including myself in case the other copies get damaged or lost.
