Es geht schlicht und einfach um Putz! Ich kann mich erinnern, dass in den frühen 70ern noch große Wannen mit ungelöschtem Kalk mit Wasser angerührt wurden und es als sehr gefährlich galt, sich dem ohne Erfahrung zu nähern. Diese alkalische Reaktion auf Zink scheint im Buch erwähnt zu sein.

Even in the far flung reaches of the Empire the word is spread and the word is good!

If I needed one book to explain the fascination of our collecting hobby to someone, this would be it.
Beautifully laid out, well explained and with great accompanying photographs.
Well done Nick and to all those others who were involved - fantastic job.

It even fits in perfectly with my display.
