360 - I would suggest a site called Zazzle.com. You simply submit your own artwork or photos and then if people like them they can have them printed on posters, T-shirts or whatever. They do all the printing and shipping you just have to set up your own little "store" on their site and submit whatever you want to sell. I've been doing it for a few years now myself and it's not big bucks or anything, mostly it's just fun to log on and see that someone in Botswana has your artwork on the wall or someone inTimbuktu is strolling around in a shirt you designed. Cafe Press and Red Ball are other such sites.

Hi Kevin.
Here are a few pics of Gary Galvin's Dodge powerwagon, It is made from resin, I don't know who it was made by but Gary does collect Yesteryears so I would assume it is a Lesney.

That is a Matchbox Collectibles issue from 1996 or thereabouts.

Thanks for confirming that Christian.
Gary also contacted me as well, it was a Lesney model makers resin 'Buck' (I believe that is the right word) and it cost a fortune (Gary's words)

Thanks, Nick. Very nice model. I rarely see them without black fenders and running boards, apparently that was a factory standard regardless of the color of the cab and bed. I'm surprised they even bothered to put suspension on these puppies - the front axle had 11 leaves each side and I believe the back 13. There are battle tanks with softer rides.

That's a rare one. I don't think I've ever seen a car-based 65+ Ford ambulance. I wonder if any survive today.

My dad was a volunteer fireman and in 1974 bought this '56 Ford ambulance for $200.00 when they were upgrading to a new ambulance. This was our family car (dad, mom and 5 kids) for 4+ years and it saw just about the entire East Coast of the US and parts of Canada. The only modification to this was the removal of the red light on top. The best part of all is we got the stretcher with it, which was excellent for riding down the road! Don't know how any of us didn't end up on a stretcher going to the hospital!!!

Should have left the stretcher in, you'd have had a place to crash on long trips.Cool ride, you don't see ambulances made from cars or vans anymore, they're pretty much all trucks now.

Hello guys. After being away from the forum for a long time I thought it was time to get active again. I will start in this topic by adding some photo's of my current oldie, which is a Vauxhall Viva HA SL from 1966. In my country Holland this is a very rare car, as the German equivalent Opel is, and always has been, much more popular.
This is the even rarer SL version, noticible by the triple rear lights and the double chrome lining on the side. This one has the luxury option of power assisted breaks.
It's an original Dutch left hand drive car in a good original condition. Recently I have also acquired the 1:43 scale Dinky model, which really should be modified to the SL version.
I have had many more oldtimer and youngtimer cars in my life, and will post some more pictures in the near future.

Hans from Holland

PS the Viva is currently for sale (in Holland)
