Hello from the US. I'm not sure how many other members are from this side of the pond! I love old Matchbox cars, I've had a lot of fun restoring them lately. I look forward to sharing some of my collection with you guys.

Greetings all! About a year ago, I started collecting diecast. I wanted to purchase the Matchbox cars that I had back in the good ol' days (of my youth!) Along the way, I discovered Nick Jones' site...and I was amazed! I never realized that there were so many variations of these little vehicles made by Lesney! What fun! So as I log my Matchbox purchases on my computer list, I list the vehicle #, as well as the code! Most of my Matchbox finds have come from eBay, as well as from hobby shops and thrift stores. I'm really enjoying this forum, and learning from you all as well!

Hi Nick! Thanks for the welcome! The Roadrunner is my all time favorite car as well! Unfortunately, I've never had the pleasure to own one. On a good note, I have been building up a nice collection of die cast Roadrunner/GTX/Satellite cars.This will have to do for now. Perhaps someday...
