Thankyou Mathias and Alex, just got the right hand model in the picture below. This Toe Joe variant has taken me ages without ridge under the front screen(in mint condition), but that could just be my eyesight. J

Many thanks Alex and Mathias, so difficult to see sometimes in pictures. Did not realise it was from the prepro version, makes sense as my first playworn one came with some prepro,s .J

Very nice - remembering Nigel´s example and one other we have seen with busted glazing which went with Nigel´s hypothesis that his was part of a batch made for factory simulated playwear/safety testing is there any reason such as factory fresh tyre rolling surfaces to give the impression the chips occured mostly in testing not real play or storage?? The fact that this is London sourced is circumstantial support for it coming out of the factory circa 1970 via the family of an ex Lesney employee

That is a nice model, very unusual colour for what in real life is a large car and wonder if it would ever appear in such a colour, even when this model appeared in pale Blue from Dinky and Corgi, it did not look right, but as I have mentioned before, dark colours on toys and models is not a good idea, they need to be light to catch the prospective customer and give the impression of a lot of toy in your hand. Imagine how the above Lincoln would look in dark Blue or Black!!

Another nice addition to your collection Jason, you did well to secure it.
