Numi, excellent detective work. I contacted the seller for close ups of the wheels and axles. Pictures are blurry at best. I asked for a little history and here is what I got:

"THE B.P TANKER & QUARRY TRUCK ARE FROM MY GOD MOTHER,S ATTIC, SHE ASKED ME TO SELL THEM.
THE DAVIS TYRES TRUCK IS FROM A AUCTION ROOM, I VISIT GENERAL SALES AS WELL AS TOY SALES .
I BUY & SELL AT SALE ROOMS, IT,S MY HOBBY. IF I PUT THEM ON EBAY I START THEM OFF AT THE PRICE I BOUGHT THEM FOR
& SEE WHAT HAPPENS, I TEND TO TRY & BUY ITEMS THAT ARE RARE IF POSSIBLE. I HOPE THE PHOTOS HELP YOU."

Seeing as how they are from his God Mother's attic, how can I question the authenticity of the models. I plan on bidding these way up! LOL!

You should ask him if the other 5-6 gpw tankers he sold earlier in the year were from his Fairy Godmothers house as well

If he keeps flooding the market with fakes this eventually will result in the sale price of genuine rare GPW Tankers coming down. Meantime he profits from his evil ways. Appalling behaviour.

What a great opportunity for any members looking for a very presentable rare SF for their display at a bargain price.

Thanks Earlywheels,Dave & All,
I had written 2days ago to the #6b GPW and #32 Bp GPW Tanker seller and stated clearly that he was a faker and i also linked him to his purchases of the donor models. Also mentioned that he was the most luckiest buyer of such rare models and the most luckiest God-child on the planet to be the benefactor of this current lot of GPW rares.I never heard from him since.
He is the latest nominee for the Ebay Hall of Shame!

Numi, I went back a little further on his purchases and found the donor for the GPW #25 - he has been buying up #16 Snowplow Scammels with GPW. I think I also found the donor for the "Davis Tyres". The decal looks identical so I think the one on the front is a reproduction as well.

Here is a scammel he bought earlier this year.

The donor for the "Davis"

His "Davis" for sale: Note how the decal has the same bend and alignment to it.

It's truly a shame that we can no longer contact the bidders and let them know what they getting themselves into. Even if you contact Ebay they don't have a concern about what people are selling as long as they get their cut.

Numi, here is what I have found - anything else is outside the 90 day window. It is sad that our hobby has come to this but that happens anytime there is money to be made.

260752284052 - Scammel
371165264979 - Davis
370537838133 - Davis Decals (I was right about the reproduction decals)
351220589190 - Restored Bedford (more grey wheels)
261658107517 - Davis Box
301369666824 - BP tanker (might be one of his older sales)

For me this isn't just faking, it is theft pure and simple. No difference between this and muggin someone on the street. I would like to see this geezer nicked by the Old Bill and dealt with accordingly. 6 months inside might teach this low life thief, because that's what he is. Just another two Bob criminal.
