I had a good time.
We had a good journey during friday / Saturday night to London Victoria where we arrived 5.30 in the early morning.
This time the coach went on the train via the Chunnel.

District line to Earls' Court and some time there before we could take the district line to Wimbledon.
No service further west from there to Surbiton and it took some time to search out for the coach who took over service.
From Surbiton the train to Esher was already on the platform lucky as it is is a service as only 2x per hour.
We arrived at 8.30 at Sandown on which time a lot of stallholders even didn't start with their stall.
It was very bad weather with lots of wind and rain.

Just arrived back home 11.00 Sunday morning.

Carsten Oettler from Berlin (Cars & Boxes) took the picture.

Peter was so very kind to bring us to Wimbledon station to avoid the part of the track which was not in normal service. From there on Christine and me had a good afternoon and evening in central London with good weather.

2 more pictures from the group.

first with Carsten from Berlin (who took the selfie) (if you click on the picture you see him on the right)

Noticeably fewer traders and punters this time round. Closure of the M25 between junction 8 & 10 may not have helped, coupled with the awful weather. Nice to meet up with Carsten again whom I hadn't seen for quite a few years, and of course, many of the usual suspects.

Good thing I don't have a passport (and I detest air travel); I'd leave that show bankrupt. Lots of nice models on offer!

I wouldn't think there is a lack of fairs in your vicinity that have the potential of leaving you bankrupt alright.
