Oxford Diecast.
Re: Oxford Diecast.
Hi Alex, hope you are doing well.
Yes they are small, see me here sitting in a James Young Silver Wraith, a huge car, and look at those tiny little wipers, a bit pathetic really.

I am good mate and glad you had a great birthday.
Wow you wouldn't want to be caught in a downpour. Poor Marmaduke would need to slide down the drivers seat quite a bit to be able to see where he is going, meanwhile Ghosty swallows another G&T in the rear!!!

Re: Oxford Diecast.
Seeing the Three together like that makes you wonder if Oxford will make all the Rolls-Royce types so we can start with a Silver Ghost and run through the 'Baby' cars like 20 H.P. through all the Phantoms taking in both Phantom I and II and going through to the Seventies with the Shadow Family because they have done quite a few already.

Re: Oxford Diecast.
For those that want to know what real car this model is based on...
I believe it is a 1946 Bentley MkVI on chassis number, B223GT.
Looks to be quite accurate including the ''J1733'' Jersey registration number.

Kevin, here is a pic of the real car as used in the TV series, there are a number of differences.GHOSTHUNTER wrote:For those that want to know what real car this model is based on...

Did they change the looks of the car at some point?

Re: Oxford Diecast.
I am not aware of more than the single car for filming and I see the colour split is not the same as the real car and then again the 'AA' and 'BDC' club badges have not been replicated. The model is very likely a quick look finish. It may even have been modelled on the car as she is now after coming back to the UK.
So far pictures of 'OD' models have been showing early examples, possibly 'Quick Look' models, bordering on 'Pre-Pro' status for photography purposes to enable something to be shown in catalogues etc.
I know you will get your example before me, so when you do, please post a picture here for us, thank's.

I don't think I will buy this one, but I found a better picture anyway:
