This one is on its way....Brown cab and chassis, green bed and hubs. 512 Guy. This is the only listing photo, so hopefully good overall condition for the I unseen parts of this scarce colour scheme.....

More photos when it arrives.

Plus two more French Studebakers acquired locally should turn up soon.

Hi Dave,
They are wonderful mate, the Guy is a real find! Be interesting to compare the brown colour when it arrives, I have a theory it was never meant to be and is produced by spraying red through a gun used previously for brown without cleaning. Happened a lot on piece work at Binns Rd. Please post up some comparisons when you get it mate.

Will do, Chris.

Comparison shots with a red and brown cab Guy will be interesting.

While I am waiting for that one to turn up, I bought the lot below locally. Pick up today hopefully, crappy photo but the Dinky's look in great condition. Detailed photo's to come.

Cheers

Dave

I'm exceedingly happy to have picked up the above lot. Single owner collection mostly displayed its entire existence. A couple of more chipped models but most of them are superb, complete with 50 years of dust in places.

So real grails here for me including the Hudson Hornet, 2 X Alfa Romeo, Ford Falcon and Cadillac. This is the second such Buy Now lot I have picked up in the last couple of months where the original owner is downsizing or moving into a retirement home and just wants to get rid of everything they no longer need. Quite sad really, but each guy has been glad they are passing their treasures onto someone who will appreciate them and that they will "Have a good home".

I'm not too sure when I go to sell eventually (20+ years from now) that there will be anyone around who will want them, let alone appreciate them as much as I do.

That's a very nice job lot with lots of great items. I'm sure you'll enjoy cleaning them!

It is good that these collectors have passed on their treasured items to new owners, as once they have passed on who knows what might happen to such collections. It's obvious they will give lots of pleasure to you.

Thank's Dave for the more detailed pictures of both the Corgi and Dinky models from that earlier job lot. The Mk10 Jaguar turned out to be the Dinky version, not the Corgi I said it was, but to still have it's luggage is rare. The Two Rolls-Royce models still with their mascots, another bonus, presumably the Two-tone Grey Silver Wraith is the British made version.

Overall there are some excellent condition models among that lot, so many from my own Childhood Years!
