A few bits going into the collection, the Dodge wreck truck with esso label which looks ok(first one for me).
The Purple Lagonda in superb condition which I am very happy with.
Also something I would not normally buy, the No4 Matchbox painting series book. Used with some colouring but its the first one I have ever seen so I had to get it just to have a look and I must admit it is a very nice little book.

Nice score on the Painting Book, Jason. I have been looking for any of them for years, Used book stores and antique stores but no luck yet. Congrats! Jay

Very nice indeed Jason, the Lagonda looks so smart in those colours. I've seen pictures of Rob's wrecker but that's the only other one I've seen, you've got the magic touch
Any chance of some pictures of the inside of the painting book?

As Al says nice wrecker, I would be a bit nervous about the labels knowing how easy it can be to reassign any label

The labels for me are very good, labels are very difficult to verify and have to really be upto the buyer of the model. This particular one was not high
priced and at 59p plus postage was worth a shot. Hard to tell in the picture but I also noticed that the model is also in the deep non corporate yellow
as pictured on Nicks site with an Esso label. I did have to add a hook which was badly chewed but it looks good on display.
John the painting book I will gladly do some pictures but I was not sure what was the best area for it. ?

the colour does look quite a lot darker and the labels look like they have very similar angles cut into them ........59p well worth a punt for the colour variation alone ,
I take it back no worries about label reassignment at them prices , well done

That's a point, I know it's not vbd but a topic for collectibles like these would be interesting.
