Yes thats of course a nice one! :D but I don't have that big money in my age Mm
But I try my best with 18 years and this month will be great! There will come some nice items across many Lesney ranges the next time. And I'am looking forward to each of them :)

I would say the Junior-collector is on a good way 8-)

Best greetings from Germany,
Linus

Wow Motorman, I don't think so, as what you all here have in your collections is what I call "heaven"!
Thanks a lot for your kind words Mm :)

Here is what the postman brought me in the morning:

Major Pack M5 a Massey Ferguson Harvester with orange hubs to the front and bpw to the rear in box.
That's my first M5 box and it looks very nicely.
It seems lesney used two types of tires for the Harvester; one type with 'Lesney' script on more knobbly tread tires and one type without 'Lesney' script on finer tread tires.
I think both types are Lesney made because I got three Harvesters from different sellers with the non-'Lesney'-scripted tires. The plastic material used for both types seems identical and the tires fit the same as the 'Lesney'-scipted, too.

You can see the difference good in the third picture, but I could post closeups if anyone is interested.
Some others could check their M5a's, too, so maybe this is a small addition to Nick's M5 a page.

Regarding to my picture from left to right:

-orange hubs front, bpw rear
-orange hubs front and rear
-yellow hubs front and rear
-yellow hubs front, bpw rear

and on top of the box: silver hubs front and bpw rear

I love these Harvesters...could buy hundreds of them :D

Greetings,
Linus

My goodness Linus, you have been busy, I don't collect any of the 'King-Size' or 'Majorpacks' models myself, but after seeing your Combines above, I could easily be persuaded to start. A very nice collection.

Thanks for your comments! I really like Kingsize and Majorpacks. It's the evil 'Superkings' range which causes space problems..but I like them, too :D

Talking of space problems...:

Today a larger lot arrived with many models from different manufacters, but I'am mainly interested in Lesney/Matchbox, so maybe I will keep some of the Corgi's but the rest will land in Ebay.
Nothing really special in there: many code fillers and a handful of models I like. I got this lot very cheap and think that I will minimum get my money back, by keeping all Matchbox stuff (yes mattel made also :D )

I'am not an expert in Corgi's or Hotwheels and don't expect something awesome (conditions are terrible, too), but please have a look at them, too.

Have a nice weekend,
Linus

It was fun going through them Mike :D

Here are some better Lesney arrivals of the weekend:

Matchbox Kingsize Tractor with green hubs and Matchbox Kingsize DAF in metallic blue/gold.
My first boxed Kingsize Caterpillar and some empty superkings boxes which I filled with my models.

Great Weekend!

Greetings,
Linus

Linus,

are you coming to the Hamburg CAM toy & train show on Saturday, March 28th?
If you have any Tomica cars that you don't need, just bring them along, please.
A collecting friend of mine from Singapore is coming along, too - and he's always searching for Tomica even in played with condition.

Hope to see you in two weeks!
Kay
