Thanks Alex. Bit too soon to arrange a stall (half of stock is 150 miles away ), but a good possibility in the coming months.

Hi all, another wasted trip to the NEC over fifty empty tables. Loads of new people trying to sell their collections, only a few old dealers left. A few matchbox about but nothing of any interest. One deal had a load of RWs, about three times the price they are worth & in poor boxes. Had a quick chat with a couple of our members. I only brought a couple of catalogues from Vectis. Pete

Thank goodness I didn’t drive all the way from Glasgow for the fair Pete, although I am planning to go to the NEC later in the year.

Hi Motorman i think you would have wasted your time & petrol, hardly anything to buy, i think the toy fairs are dying. There are no specialist dealers there any more, like Rob & Graham & a few others. Some of the so called dealers are just chancers . Sandown seems to be a better fair although i never buy much there Pete.

In fairness Pete is only looking for perfect mint and boxed which is becoming very scarce, I always find something at fairs and we are all looking for different things anyway, I love my football stuff and sometimes pick up the odd bits at toy fairs lol

Hi Tim, I think in any collecting the collector will always try & buy the best he can afford. I always think when i come to sell my collection i should get top dollar back. Hope to see you at Sandown Pete.

100% agree Pete but that high end stuff is getting very scarce and expensive, yes mate I should be at Sandown and if you’re lucky I’ll let you buy me a coffee lol
