I never knew that Crane was a trailer manufacturer. And, as always, top-notch work.

Restored M-6a on one of my custom display stands which features artwork from an old Scammell Company brochure. Stand provides enough room for an additional color variation model to be displayed (if one so desires).

How could I not comment on this one!
Pretty much a perfect package. The display works really well with these models. The photo is right because it shows the real car the models are based on. The colours are fine, no problem with having a Bentley in an alternative colour and the naming is right because the car is known as a ''Blower'' Bentley by enthusiasts.

Wow, that's about as close to getting corporate approval, of my little display and models, as I could ever come. Thanks Kevin. And thanks to everyone else who has recently commented on my recent batch of stuff.

I found this one for sale cheap and I thought to myself, "It's perfect!" Nothing bent, nothing broken, nice looking wheel hubs and tires, just perfect!
By gosh, you can turn a sow's ear into a silk purse!

This Major Pack M8a tanker trailer had been sitting on my work bench for a few months. The cab and the trailer were from two different sources. The cab just needed paint but the trailer had all sorts of problems. It needed some body work on a couple of bad dents, it had no wheels or axle and someone had carved out the mounting hole on the base to some huge oversize and rough egg shaped hole. I picked up the trailer to move it out of the way today and decided it was finally time to move it to the head of the class. I repaired the dents with some filler, straightened the tank portion as much as i dared and repaired that big egged out hole on the base (see pic for description of hole). I got lucky and found two of the dark grey wheels to match the ones on the cab. All things considered, it came out pretty nice.
