That's not much of an 'early bird offer' is it? We all know that you need to be there whilst the stalls are being set up, not after everything's been unpacked and already picked over by the other dealers.

Quite right Hugh, there are timing and contractual conflicts with this event. We are limited as to how early we are allowed in the building to fine tune the tables and sort out any outstanding issues. The tables are put up in their plan order on Friday evening and even this is done between a limited time period, quite often delayed because the person (outside of the club's control), is not there to unlock the building for us to get in.

I went to Windsor on Saturday and was happy to have the chance to say hello to Ghosthunter (I also bought an old Corgi catalogue from him). The fair seemed a bit on the quiet side, but apparently an event at Didcot on the same day wasn't helping attendance. I found a few bits and pieces - unfortunately I haven't got around to photographing them...

Hi Fred, I am pleased you found something on my table worth buying. Yes, the fair was quieter than usual and I expect it will stay that way into early next Year. The committee are at pains trying to secure new premesis for the toy fair because the current building is due to be pulled to pieces for re-development. The toy fair organiser has been looking for Seven Years for a new location!

It may be a long way away, north of the Border, but there's no need to shout! :D
