Re: Recent finds

Hadn't bought a job lot for a while so I had to indulge in this little collection - all pretty common though the Ford has the white grille and the Alvis seems to have the silver nozzle and I have been looking for the early weatherill in good condition for a while

Looks like a nice selection of really good condition models and there is a Rolls-Royce... :D

Thanks for the comments, I thought that one might appeal to you - here is another RR phantom I got a few months ago that is a little different - can you tell what it is?

It has the 9x24 wheels and what a stunning example, far better condition than the one I own...

Absolutely correct - the front wheels have 24 treads and the back wheels have 36 treads :D

It is probably fairly obvious why I went after this little lot
The bonus is the Trojan van - I wasn't really a fan until I got this one - to me it is rather cute!

As usual happy collecting :) :)

Was it for both the Cresta and the Ford American station wagon? Does the Cresta have metal wheels? That would be a great find! The 31b Ford in yellow is also very nice - even nicer if it has a black base. Good lot.

Hell Sebastian,

This yellow Ford with windows is very exciting.

I have been after the yellow Ford station wagon for a while - it just has the common maroon base and clear windows. The Cresta has the GPW but was a nice bonus as I don't have any others! :)
