Let me begin with the summary: Lets go back to business as usual!

Dick, the 21D thread - I deleted my post! I simply haven´t seen yellowfodens request to "trade some weather" with you and i wondered, why you were refering about weather!? When i finally found yellowfodens request, i called myself stupid and deleted my post - thats all.

#23 - I totally agree with all of you about this act of greed. IMHO there was no other reason to do this - pure greed! If i use two worthless beaters to make a nice display filler, than everybody is fine with it, as i keep it for me and my fun. But disturbing that caravan to make some more bucks while the whole collectors world was watching... Image

To explain the feelings, that i already had while i was going through the whole caravan story, would lead to far off topic. But that day already somebody pissed on my german shoes and then reading the 2013 thread and the new comments added to this bad feeling. Its not easy to be a German. Whatever we do in the worldwide public, how young we may be - we always feel, that we still have one foot in that stinky 70 year old sump. And that really makes me angry and sometimes a little hypersensitive, when people discuss a "german theme". After cooling down I reread all the #23 related posts again and there is nothing offending, when it is read in the right context. So please take my excuse for the caused trouble. I guess, it would be a good idea to delete my initial post and everything afterwards...

As said above - lets go back to everything matchbox...

Hi Roland.

No need to delete any posts now, the story has been set straight, thank's for for what you have just said. We can all be friends again now and we are all on the same page, literally... :D

Does it help if I tell you that I’ve taken my family to Germany on holiday, that I love German food (especially Spätzle and Flammkuchen), that my favourite beer is Maisel’s Weisse (naturtrüb), and that, when I lived in The Netherlands, I had a small Münsterlander, and now I have a large one?

Thanks for taking the time to read and understand Roland. We are not just Germans, Americans, Canadians, English, Scottish, Spanish, Australian, etc here on this Forum. We are really a small group of collectors of diecast Toys of all kinds who are here to help each other. Relax, enjoy, learn and also teach us, and most of all smile every day. My High School German lessons were a long time ago now, so I have no idea what a Munsterlander may be, big OR small. :?: kwakers

I now am over my head in Dog Breeding information from that link Roland. These Dogs seem to be such a commonly known breed that even our local Hunters may use them up here in our Adirondack mountains. I will surely notice both breeds now that I have studied them a bit.....Thanks! kwakers
