Quite a few, truth be told, but when you want a certain variation so much, the price you have to pay can somewhat become an irrelevance!!! :D

Alex, what is the 'Back Story' of your Ferrari find, how you come to be aware of it, how long you have been looking for it and the events leading up to you actually becoming the proud owner of it. Do you want to give us less fortunate members an overall story.

Maybe other members would like to tell of their search and final acquisition of that elusive model!

I'll try and think of one myself, but at the moment I can only recall a long search for a particular Dinky Toy Rolls-Royce.

Ghosty.

Kevin,

Kevin my understanding is that these metallic green #75's were usually found packed in the 1969 USA blisterpacks which included the ´G´box issued in Canada and the USA and that a very small percentage of them were masked sprayed with silver trim.

I was able to purchase my example from a very reputable matchbox dealer Bob Steinberg (one of the two crazies) from the USA, when i lost out on a recent e bay listing to a higher bidder who didnt have enough money in his budget to pay for it!!! and so Bob offered it to me at a very favourable rate (still quite a few bucks) and so the deal was done. Truth be told this is one of my favourite castings and i have always wanted in my view the rarest example and the Dark green metallic with silver trim meets that criteria IMHO, now i have one i am not so sure i need a metallic green version without silver trim?...........Mmmmmnnnn on second thoughts maybe I do and so the chase continues!! :D
