I've been out of pocket and pretty much off line for several days. To say that I've missed some events seems to be a major understatement. If I understand correctly, we are abandoning the original Lefora forum and setting up shop all over again here? I've registered for the new forum and it's a familiar format.

I think the Lefora upgrade and redux was a total disaster and likely unfixable. It could only be loved by is creator and is a totally insane format.

Will the Lefora forum continue to run and draw in members to a site abandoned by it's admin?
Are their any posts on the Lefora site which redirect people here?
Is there any way to mass email members and share the information that they need to come here and register?
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

Hi Tinman.
I have tried to email all of the membership of the old forum through lefora, also I have left several messages on the forum telling everyone we have moved here so only time will tell if they all got the message or not, I think most of the members have found us but we have only been on this site for a little over 24 hours.

Unfortunatly, I ignored and even deleted the most recent email sent out about the forum. Since the other two or three emails sent from Lefora (about the site upgrade) directed people to an address that did not work and was frought with useless information and dead ends. I hope others do not ignore or delete the email for the same reasons. However, even though I deleted that email, I did go to the variation guide and then I entered the website using the link provided there. So I think everyone will find their way here.

Not knowing that this was completly new site, I did waste some time tryying to log in using my new Lefora password. I soon figured out I needed to register. Oh well, I'm here now and l'm not a stranger to this particular BB format, it's much nicer than the afterbirth abomination of Lefora.

Hi Joe, only the first two or three posts will need approving, then it gives you full access to the board, you will have to bear with me because I am still learning about the new forum and its functions. luckily we have Mick Flack on board and his Moyboyz forum is practically identical.

I arrived here last night after a bit of fiddleing about on the other site plus the old site mystifing me while away on holiday and trying to get to grips with someone elses Ipad type of thing. Isnt it a complete pain in the arse having to deal with modern technology thats supposed to be making life easier?...Oh well I suppose I should think myself lucky that this NEW TECH STUFF has brought all us like minded people together again. Reminds me a bit of Terminator Two being blown apart and sort of finding himself again like Mercury.......Chill and good luck everyone.

Ian.
