Hehe - I'm sure there's plenty of them too! My mum's side of the family is from that part of the world and I remember the wallabies from childhood holidays. I was actually doubting myself after posting that comment and thought I'd better check it out. Google 'Roaches Wallabies' and you'll see the full story.

Ewan, There are wild wallabies in Scotland too, They escaped from a private zoo on an island in loch Lomond when it froze up, I recall seeing a fairly recent newspaper article where one was killed on the road over near Oban, they are headed your way lol.

Flippin heck - that's quite a trek from Loch Lomond to Oban. I'd quite like to see them here - it's funny enough watching the hedgehog trappers wandering around the fields in a Force 9 and horizontal rain, I'd love to see them running after (or away from) wallabies :lol: :lol: :lol:
