Hi Christian, thank u for your views, most rewarding.ChFalkensteiner wrote:I want to add to this that they are only easy to spot if they wear the narrow tyres as used on the 19d and 52b front wheels. They are much less easy to spot if they wear the wider tyres as used on the 49b, 65c, 72b and on the rear wheels of the 19d and 52b racing cars.numi wrote: Hi Idris i feel that these front big-wheeled tractors (both Ford & JD) are easier to spot with them being most unusual.
When I got my three orange tractors mentioned previously, I did not notice that the front wheels were unusual until I saw them side by side with my other examples at home.
I somehow missed your Orange tractor posts so please revisit and add some pics if u dont mind.Im sure it would be most welcome here on the new forum.
This pic here attached is the actual Murky Waters auction header-pic among a few others that we inside the listing. It ran for full 8days with 4 views and no tracking/watchers although it was in the correct category.I noticed/recognised this oddity immediately in the header-pic even before opening the listing in the Ending-Soon section about 15mins before the auction-end and eventually/evidently i was the only bidder.
My point about it being seen and going unnoticed because most collectors are unaware of this oddity/variation and tired of seeing this common blue & yellow rings true even with the narrow wheels. The only 4x viewers of this listing surely did not know what to look out for or what they were looking at.Those who knew about this oddity/variation but had not had the opportunity to view the auctions or bid are excluded yet i could have been one of them.
