Left model is the standard cab with decal guide, green windows and red light
Middle model has the amber light no decal guide and clear(hint of blue tint I think)
Right model is the prepro.

Very nice. Next to the k-8a, this is the nicest Lesney ever did. Don't think many will be showing up on our shores. But I'll keep an eye out.
Thanks for the pictures.

Its amazing to see something like this turn up. Folks from the UK all know real construction vehicles must have ORANGE not RED warning lights however for economy Lesney clearly made the decision to just use standard red lights from #13d rather than starting to stock unique orange. If they had decided to give all their Police & Fire vehicles red lights American style they wouldnt have need blue lights either however this proved to be an economy too far!

Many police cars in America have blue lights. When I lived in the state of Maine, there were laws that stated only law enforcement could have blue lights, only Fire and Ambulance services could have red lights, and all others could only have amber lights.

First pic shows early casting of the Case dozer as well with the "proper" exhaust stack. However, I thought that this early casting only had red wheels (yellow being fitted later). The very earliest castings of the Case had the control pillar cast to the bulkhead which necessitated a slot being let into the cab front. These definitely had red wheels. This was changed to make the pillar without the web and so the slot in the cab could then be dispensed with. The very last of the "proper" exhaust stack dozer may have had yellow wheels but I've only seen them with red.

Hi AJR, yes you are quite right but this model with the amber light is quite unusual anyway, this picture shows the earliest version. of the Case dozer that I have(you will not get much earlier).

That REALLY IS an early one. I thought I had an early one with the web present on bulkhead but I've never seen one with the lever in front of the seat. :o
