Thanks for that Squid. Some detail could be a little better on the Mini but nice to have. Yes, I have a few more (4) Yesteryear vehicles to photograph yet as well as quite a number of other 1/443 size models by other manufacturers. Oh, alright then here another yesteryear for today! :D

This model is of the 1030 Duesenburg Model J produced by Matchbox in the Yesteryear series - #Y-4-4-21 released in 1983.

I like the Yesteryears, too, especially the ones from the Regular Wheels era. In fact, I was just about to upload some pictures of mine. Thanks for sharing!

Been playing around trying to get better photos. This is my 1912 Model T Ford Matchbox model #Y-12-3-B01. It was released in 1979.

Now for something completely different. This boxed set of four was received as a gift. The only identifying things are the title "Glorious Brittain" and the code WDFTW148HA. I have no idea as to who the company was that produced them. Another intriguing fact is that all four items include a pencil sharpener within and as part of the body. They were made in China so I suspect Corgi or Dinky. Does anyone have any info for me?

Now for something that is definitely not vintage but a sought after vehicle today, here in NZ anyway. The reason for my having it in my collection is that it was my first car and my father owned one as well. I completely overhauled the engine, now rubber on the wheels, and had the car repainted similar to this model. Unfortunately, I don't have a digital photo or even a printed colour photo of it. Somewhere in a box is a colour slide of our cars together but hard to find - I must get a print of it sometime. Was a nice car to drive.

The model is by Lledo/Vanguard - VA06101 - this one is #4456 of a limited edition total of 5000. The Mk II Zephrys were produced between 1956 - 62.

Had the convertible back in the 60's - maroon / cream body. Beautiful car and would love to have one now again.

Those pencil sharpener models are the most recent issues of those famous bronzy-copper novelty pencil sharpeners available at every UK seaside gift shop such as the example below.

The London Taxi and Bus etc are currently being marketed by Elgate Products Ltd down in Broadstairs, Kent. It is they who are supplying the souvenir trade with those little models.
