Here's one of the missing links in the K7B story. This one has the early body
and the early base, but it's in orange, like the box illustrations. Unlike the box illustrations, it has red wheels and the decal on the rear, but it has a prepro arm without reinforcement for the tipper. This is shown clearly in the box illustrations but the modification was exceptionally good and I don't think anyone's spotted this before.
I'd guess that this was the final version before production, and that there were two or three others on the way as they made this complex mechanism work with the heavy refuse box.

It's great and super informative threads like these that will keep me a fan of forums VS Facebook. FB provides nothing like the depth and wealth of information such as found in this thread.

Thats a great model and a very nice find, slowed down a bit with the Kings due to space. Now selling a few spares to get more space.
