I hear there are a bunch of folks with a posh residence in central London who have a thing for Roll Royces and recently had a big do. You bidder may have been a she instead of a he.

I wonder if HRH wasn’t up late one night recently, saw your listing and thought “that’s just the perfect wedding gift! And what a bargain!” Only later to be told by the Lord Exchequer that the credit card was occupied elsewhere and no he would not spot her a few quid.
