Looks a very similar colour to the AMX Javelin blue interior, maybe a later trial interior. Would be nice to know if it's an early or later interior. J

Yes, the colour looks extremely close, suggesting that it ought to be a later interior meant for an SF body. If that's true, then it supports the idea of the interior being genuine but the body/interior pairing being fake.

Why is the body/ interior pairaing should be a fake ?

Isn't a colour trial especially made, being it differently painted from a production batch ?
Was, at the time, a thick paint a synonym of quality ? Making it a nicer model to present to the market team ?

I just ask myself and you too.

If the interior can be seen to be of a late design for fitting into a 'Superfast' period body, why is it sitting inside a 'Regular Wheel' body.
If this is a genuine factory pairing, the body casting will have to be of very late production from just before the introduction of 'Superfast' and the interior will have to be of the modified ('Superfast'), design, but moulded in Blue as a colour trial.

If the body can be proven to be of a very early design and the interior is of a very late design, this casts doubt over the model's status!

Hope that helps to explain the body/interior pairing comment by ''Idris'' earlier.

Ok. I just forgot the SF Miura could be fitted with such a interior colour. Sorry for my Matchbox lacks.

The SF miura is not found with this blue interior either fox. This looks like a trial interior, what we are trying to establish is the moulding an early or later cast.

If I am not mistaken (I probably am) did Lesney not have a preference for yellow paint on trial models as it showed faults better
