Sure enough, all the items returned from the previous buyer have been relisted by this seller. Now states "treating as code 3 issue, seats may not be original".
He's been told categorically that the models are fakes/copies with painted seats.

Thought that would happen - he got all shirty when I left negative feedback for him and told me he has reported ME to ebay... told him to go ahead and I'd point out all the fake items he has been listing AND justify my comments regarding our transaction!

At least I got a refund AND managed to keep the item thus taking it out of circulation...

Further evidence of this scumbags work as shown on MOYBOYZ Y4 with green seats

Rivet looks ok.

Oh look it comes apart.

Glued rivets and a cut axle holding the spares (done so that the ends look ok). The model is not in my possession, but was purchased by a mate for research purposes.

Very interesting Bob, I have also bought some cheaper models for research when I know the faker that sold them has had a hand in modifying them to a semi-rare code. An extra $20 has sometimes taught me a new method used by them to hide their modifications, such as your split sidemount axle you have pictured very nicely here. Painted plastic tires or seats are almost impossible to spot in pictures, but that man's base rivets are pure molestation......Thanks for highlighting this Seller's bad fakes so that maybe collectors here will learn to check E Bay's listing pictures much closer now.
