Might be there as a looker but not taking a table as still not able to cope with too much time on my feet - all depends on whether I can get wife or daughter to drive me out for a look-see...matchboxkiwi wrote:Good luck with the recovery Ian.
You'll be able to give that knee a workout at the swap meet this weekend.
In fact I've got some items you'll like to see. I'll leave them on the floor for you!!!
Cheers, Steve

Airport security has been fun for some time... my wife also has a steel knee and partial steel shoulder... we play games with the security staff by having one of us going through first and then when that one is taken to one side and has the wand run olver them, the other one quickly moves through the screen and sets off the alarms again... the staff are not expecting this to happen (ever, in our experience) so they usually jump or shout "sh*t" (or similar) when the alarm goes off again!tractorboy wrote:Or possibly No 8 wire to go with the 8 inch scar Should make airport security a fun time!toysnz wrote:Sadly not keyhole surgery - had the whole knee removed and replaced with titanium and chrome (I believe) - a very nice 8 inch scar to match the one on the other knee!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery Ian.
Too right Bob! The kids keep adding up the weight gains... just so long as they don't add in the toy collection when they take it all to the scrap dealer!YYS4BOB wrote:They won't bury you two, they'll weigh you in at the scrap metal yard.
