You may remember his Vectis Auction back in 2012 , wow I can't believe that is nearly 5 years Rob!! (Links below)
I was so glad to pick up some stonkingly good pieces from that auction Rob.
Glad some of them went to you Al, as you say it does not seem like 5 years ago, how time flies by.
Indeed Rob, i won a few and regards one variation in particular there was absolutely no way that your amber glass #4 Gruesome Twosome was heading anywhere other than Glasgow. I had been looking for a clean example for a many years, so when it came up for sale at your auction it was always going to be a fight till the death and i survived!! :D
That being said, i really wish i had a bigger budget on the day because a few others passed me by, one being that stonkingly good pre pro #32 Leyland Petrol Tanker in red with the black base, boy what an utterly wonderful model.....ah well you can't win them all

It was a beauty Al and one I actually wish I still had...here it is

I've got one of these with Esso labels so that's at least two that are known to exist. Won't put a pic up due to fakers copying it.

I'll happily vouch from my couch.

Bought and sold with Rob and it's always been a pleasure.

Hopefully I'll get a chance to rock up at Sandown this year.

Just wanted to revive this thread as I will be starting to sell again on eBay soon and want to promote the forum as well. I think I count 7 of the 10 votes needed for my badge so if anyone else can help with the final 3 votes I would be grateful, many thanks in advance guys.

Hi Rob. You can count me in as a vote. I have hundreds of models in my collection which have all come from you. In fact it may have hit 4-figures, thinking about it. So that's a definite vote from me.

:) :D :P
