I never cracked the problem of finding some correct size wire to simulate the cooling fins around the brake drums and of course Dad's illness eventually took over my spare model making time.

I actually apologised to Dad while he was in Hospital for not finishing the Bentley kit (Bob remembered correctly it was a Bentley), which was so hard for me.

The Bentley is now already in storage for another Day and I won't have the courage to finish it for quite a few Years to come.

Now thats weird cause I have one of these in the loft ready to build and I made one back in the 80s and sold it on and It completely passed over my head..I automaticly think Saloon and not racing car when Bentley is mentioned....Go on Kevin get on with it..I can say in all honesty The big Bentley is a walk in the park compared with the Pocher in fact apart from scratch building 00 loco chassis back in the day this is the hardest model project I have ever taken on and I'm only restoring it....I dread to think what building the wheels and brake linkage would have been like.Jeez. :o :o

Two more uses for coffee stirers to carry on from a much earlier post on here or some other modeling site....Book marks and door catches..This is now my morning and night work for the next month..Both work in progress..One is inspiration on the lav first thing the other to send me off to bed with a smile of contentment.. :D
