I know about 23 chrome plated Dinky Toys 20 English and 2 French but I have not seen the Centurion yet.

One does not know much about these models. What we know is that the Binns Road factory had the capacity to plate castings but not Bobigny. Bobigny had a nickel plating facility until the war but probably not after. Most of the chrome Dinky are one of but

three are code 1 and were mas produced :
108 Sam's car
352 Ed Staker's car
700 Spitfire

four were made as small series but the plating was probably sub contracted :
112 Austin Healey Sprite
149 Citroën Dyane
266 E.R.F. fire tender
296 Duple Viceroy luxury coach

The others are singles and probably code three until more information is found about them.

Any information about the chrome plated Dinky will be most welcomed.
