We have to remember these pictures, in particular the one we are currently discussing, are for showing off the display stands and how the models in their packaging look when on them to the retailers. The pictures would be in a folder the representative carried around with him on his visits to shops etc. When the picture was taken they would source the models from where ever they could so the display was full of models. I imagine the sales department would have a stock of current models and old stock models for continuous appraisal and models from this stash would be used for the purpose of filling up display stands for the pictures, so there will be some models from a previous range.
