The albums that Steve ("Matchboxkiwi") has, does include some copyright free pictures, these are for the purpose of illustrating the catalogue pages, adverts and flyers etc, so those could be stored with no ownership issues on a CD.

Other pictures in the album are general views taken by a staff photographer and the copyright of those usually stay with the photographer who took the pictures unless a financial deal is done where the photographer sells the rights to a publisher or in this case the sales team within Lesney and this is something we just don't know, so its a bit of a Grey area, we then have the problem of the current owner of all these albums, Steve himself and he may be reluctant to allow them to be put onto a CD, as at the moment he owns the intellectual rights because the pictures are the masters, not reprints or copies.

Any member with the right equipment could put all the pictures onto a CD (CD-R), for their own amusement, just don't sell it to others for Monetary gain!

Steve,
All of your photos in each of your threads are excellent, ( thanks Kevin for the editing) , I especially like the photos of the factories and love the tool room photos. Count no less than 6 milling machines in the foreground, brilliant. Look forward to seeing more and appreciate your work and time. What a great collections of paper work.

Bert
