Thanks for the replies. I did find a picture of the display I am looking for on the following site:

Unfortunately the resolution is low. I will keep searching for an original marquee.
Thanks

It is quite possible I bought the display you saw in New Jersey. I was told it was found in a hardware store and the auction house was in New Jersey and the marquee is missing, All of the cars are correct and the most recent is dated 1958.
The closest picture I can find is:

I have a graphic artist in California who will repair the display and attempt to recreate the marquee. Unfortunately she is going to have to paint it by hand. I know it will be a "fake/reproduction" but it is worth it to me as in my early youth I used to buy cars from such a display before it went to 75 cars.

I have the original of that full page ad you saw on Photobucket, so maybe that could be blown up and touched in by hand as you have now planned. If you type in 1958 Bronner Display into the search bar on the top of this page and search through the 4 pages of Posts there, you will find pictures of your display the owner shared with us before it's Toy Auction offering 2 years ago. I am sure it is the same display now, you will note your "New" 6B was shipped and displayed without any decals, and also the 7A in yours is the rare GPW version with silver crates and trim on the wagon. The Seller had later added the gas pumps and sign (this time around) to make your display complete. He bought the display back rather than sell it at the original Toy Auction in New Jersey 2 years ago now, so I had the chance while there to hear of it's original discovery by him when we talked about its originality afterwards. Cheers! kwakers

PS: I noticed #6 is missing the decal. I have one I bought as a kid from 1957 and i will switch it out. #7 does have silver bottles.

It may not be missing its decal, it may well have been issued like that (see
here).
