Re: Photo Album of Matchbox Stuff
I think you'll need more than a bus to get to my place!
We will see you in about six months then, after it's stopped at all the bus stops on the way.
I had an experience like that once. I'd flown from New Zealand to Heathrow, London and was living just out of Marlow along the M40.
Usually a friend would come and pick me up. The trip taking about 20 to 30 minutes, so I thought I'd try the bus. About four hours later I get home!!!
Must have stopped at every bus stop on the way.
Cheers, Steve

...as you will see from the address under my avatar, I am in Buckinghamshire and Marlow is just down the road from me and those same old rickety Buses are still stopping at all the stops...

Its nice to see that they actually included prepro versions in some of the shots Steve. I would think it means that some of these models like the yellow y20 were to be released that way but were changed to a different colour on release. Wonder what made them change their minds ? Would love to get to a decent swapmeet that at least had some Matchbox in it, over here the only one is now all Trax and Biante and mostly 1:18 scale with various other stuff added like Dr.Who and Starwars etc etc. Usually very little Matchbox stuff apart from one stall but his are so highly priced I never bother with them.

Would love one of those yellow Y19 Auburns. There was a Y20 Merc done in yellow as well, but seldom seen, unlike the blue and grey version of which there are many, a few hundred I would guess.

Not sure what this album is about!
I also have a number of these more official looking albums with loads of Matchbox stuff in.

Sorry Bob - keep getting my numbers wrong - by the way I traded my yellow Y19 with black seats for the Thomas with yellow seats !YYS4BOB wrote:Would love one of those yellow Y19 Auburns.
