Re: Ford GT Regular or Gift Set Model
Could it be refraction and or pixellation? This yellow does not appear on the chip-ends and does not appear in the original pic except when one tries to enlarge.

Re: Ford GT Regular or Gift Set Model
It is definitely yellow paint over white. Gavin can confirm this.
The number 6 transfer is exactly the same as used on the white models and the yellow gift set models.

Yes, Steve is correct, the yellow is definitely the top layer colour, as can be seen beneath the decal.

Thanks for clarifying that lads, it's a bit of an optical illusion.

Is it really an optical illusion – or does it merely look like one?johnboy wrote:...it's a bit of an optical illusion.

Re: Ford GT Regular or Gift Set Model
Still cannot see how that white paint is under the yellow, there is some white paint below the number on the decal that is on top of the yellow.

I guess, i know, what you mean, but...nearlymint wrote:Still cannot see how that white paint is under the yellow, there is some white paint below the number on the decal that is on top of the yellow.
There three layers: first white, then yellow, then the decal. If the white paint has been the top layer, why is there not a minimum of yellow paint under the white in this area?
