Well my wife says I was crazy for buying this, but I couldn't pass it up to try a restoration on it. If anyone has any extra wheels, or a rear fender/axle assembly they would part with, please email me. If I don't find any parts I have some other ideas.

Thanks
Bob

Bob, just point your dear Wife in this direction and we'll soon convince here you are not crazy... :D

That is one model certainly worth restoring, good luck and keep us posted.

Been a while since I have found any models to add to my collection. Found these yesterday, nothing special. Alvis is the smooth bed version, which I didn't have.

The Alvis looks to be in very good condition and is one model I pick up at every toy fair hoping it is the smooth bed version!

Nice Saviem ARAL tanker by Majorette next to it.

Ghosty,
The 3 Matchbox models are in very nice condition, but the Majorette tanker is pretty rough, but it was cheap, wish it was the Matchbox ARAL tanker!

Very nice. Does the Alvis have a paper label? The smooth-floored Alvis is only listed with decals, and my play-worn example certainly has the remains of them.

DrJeep,
Here is another picture of the Alvis . It appears to have labels, not decals.
