Before I read this comment, I wanted to say that the left label looks like a repro. Because the black is not really deep black and it is also blurred, typical of a picture that was scanned and the black colour separated into RGB colours and then printed with a colourprinter. Therefore I would assume that the left is a repro - but scanned from a different original label, so two distinct designs probably did exist.

73a sf 1 variation thin and wide wheels, and the other one on the base the word Mercury is on the flat, and the other the word Mercury is on a raised platform but that is on 73c my error sorry, must just be getting to old.
