I don't know about the paint or the baking but as far as I remember the application/removal of the masks on this model did lead to chipped paint or places of wear.

I´m not shure about other models, but i had several Thunderbirds, that tend to chip, much more than others. I kept one for resto, which only had paint left at the front and the rear lights.

Here's 3 of my D Box T-Birds, took me years to get to get the gpw version and even more for the bpw.

Depending on what computer you are viewing the forum on, will show the above picture fully or chopped. I am tempted to just resize slightly so all viewers can see a full pictures of those excellent models.

I have left the original image intact so anyone saving it to their computer will have the original large file version. Here is the resized image below.

Thanks Ghost Hunter for the re-sized photo, will try and get it right next time. My next photo/s will be of the 27c cadillac, I need help with the colours, silver gray vs metallic brown.
cheers...ozboxrox

Okay here's another attempt to get the pic correct size. These are all 27C variations. I always thought I had the silver gray versions, but not 100% sure. The lilac versions are easy to sort out along with the scarce green one. The other's I don't know. The two spw versions to the left front, one has clear and the other one green windows, both red bases. The other version to the right front, has gpw and a black base, similar to the lilac version. I'm sure the expert forum members will clarify this one. Different background colors seem to bring several shades of the silver gray and metallic brown, confusing?

Almost there! whatever you did with the Caddy picture, you need to adjust a bit more, then you it should be fine. I won't resize this one until forum members say what they are seenig.

P.S. Great collection of Caddies, they would look nice next to my Rollers... :D
