Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Do you reckon someone in the design department sat there all those years ago and thought .........

Why don't we mess around with those collectors in the future and add some variations to keep them interested.

I'm just going to have a look now - can't stop myself. Thanks for the picture, it's a great line up when you see them like that.

it is funny how they made so many changes and they didnt keep the records of it or as far as i know they didnt...they had to have work orders for the machinists to make changes to the molds for billing...as thats they way it was when i worked in the machine shop

but they did know early on that collectors were out there but i dont know if they made changes for different variations for collectors...it wouldve been smart as then they could sell more like they do today...hot wheels does it im sure matchbox does to now
