Are you sure it wasn't Bayko you had? I thought Betta Bilda was basically a copy of Lego, although Lego can be quite nasty to tread on too! I've got some Bayko waiting to be built up when I ever get around to it...
Those toyshop scenes are really good.

not managed to buy online from here in the netherlands and a UK collectorfriend also failed to buy from their store (not using the expensive german seller)
Hope they will have a stand at Sandown as I remember seeing something similar there.

Don't you wish you could go back to when toyshops looked like this ! Nowadays its all hanging on pegs and little displays showing. I remember putting a penny in the slot and all the trains would run round the layout, toy cars were on display out of the boxes and could be pushed around ( no silly blister packed in an unopenable bubble)
