Well.... firstly I should apologize for joining this forum and then as quickly as I came, I seem to have left. I didn't realize it has been so long though. I really enjoy this forum, but time seems to be a luxury these days. I am a member of another forum and by the time I get done with my regular catch ups there, I'm out of time to jump to the next forum. I know, it just sounds like an excuse. I've recently popped back in and have been trying to catch up on some terrific reads here.
A couple years ago I introduced you all to these Grip Zechins. It seems there were quite a bit of views , so I assume some interest. I thought I'd ease back into the community by updating the collection here.

Since my last posts the collection has slowed down as I seem to have been able to acquire the remaining missing models (that I know of).

NO 19 CAT Motor Grader swing plow. I learned about this different packaging with this model. I had always though the cardboard box with cello window was the only packaging. I was quite surprised to see this Asian packaging (just a few English printed words) with the model on a base with hard plastic cover. It's the only one I have with this packaging. Although I like this packaging much better, I wouldn't try to obtain each model in each type of package. I am content with this one example of the variation. Besides, to date I have only seen a couple models in this package

...and that other forum is experiencing rather too many technical faults at the momhent.

Welcome back Shane.

As the Edai Grip Lady Penelope ''FAB 1'' car is a smaller copy of the Dinky Toys model, do you know if these construction vehicles are copied or based-on other commercially available models.

Hmmmm, that's a great question. I am not sure if these were based on other models of different scales. I am pretty sure though there are no others from the same molds of the same scale (unless they were from Eidai as well such as World Zechin which are mentioned earlier in this thread)

As it is shown and presented, I don't recognise the model as being available from another company, but I am no expert in consruction models. I tend think they are original tooling from Grip Zechin, but would love to be proven wrong!
