my reaction was the same...first offer i said...take the money fool...then the offer went to 250 i think...i was like...take it!
i couldnt believe the guy was asking 500 for them...the only mint model was the thames estate car...and the guy said...that model sold for 400 2 years earlier...he is banking on selling his junk to someone who was foolish to buy the thames estate car for 400...haha i was like this guy is crazy if he thinks he can get that
also...i noticed recently that some new sellers think every car they sell is gold...i saw an auction for an open step combine the other day and they were asking 999 dollars..it has some edge wear...the box was ok...i was like...good luck with that sale
i saw another auction with someone selling a honda motorcycle and trailer for an absurd price of 148 dollars

Oh dear
Don't know what makes me laugh harder:
The fact that he wants 500 dollar for that "collection" or Idris comment: "Aside from the fact that they're both idiots.."
Maybe his 2003 "Around the world" model with that plastic camera bonus inside the package is the treasure we all don't know of

If the show had been made in high definition, if Youtube was in high definition, I take a screen-grab and show it on the forum, would it also be in high definition on member's laptop screens?
Ghosthunter.
I've no idea Ghosty, can it be measured according to the number of pixels in the original image you grabbed? I do know HD comes in different levels (just to complicate things)
OK John, lets take the current hi-res domestic format of 4K, that should enable a fairly hi res screen-grab to be done!

I'm out of my depth here, but it would be interesting to see what level of definition the movie is made at, what size the image is after grabbing and what size it is as we see it after it's been reposted.

All parameters we have no control over, best we get back to our models, eh!

Idiots is the only thing accurate about that clip. Just because it is old, don't mean it's valuable.
We have all made mistakes before when it comes to purchase/selling price (well at least I have). But I don't know what is worse, people who don't know value of such items trying to sell them or people who don't know the value of such items who buy them.

Would have been extremly interesting if there had been a Reverse Wrecker in that lot and neither knew what it was.
