Funnily enough Greg, I have to do that sometimes with my model drawers. I must say that I derive a great deal of pleasure from those sorts of exercises... :ugeek:

I must confess to getting really excited about adding another variation to my collection and the physical action of moving models one place to the left or right to fit it in, gives me great pleasure, it then has to be added to the paperwork listing and then to the same listing on the computer, all time consuming, a collector's lot is never done...

It's a well known condition, next time you pop in and see your GP just mention that you think you've got "Diecasta Collectitis"

Thanks Pete. Just turned 60 and started around 8 years of age. Pulled the collection out of storage about 15 years ago and was off and running. Focused on pre 1970 Moko/Lesney. Love the hunt! Macdonald

A stunning group and I really like the "overhead" shot that shows different colors/shades! Well Done and a great perspective!

To start a request for close-ups (there could be many!), how about:
30b Tan Magirus Deutz crane
46a Tan Morris minor
33c Gold w/ red interior Lamborghini Miura

Thanks,
Bill
Would love to show closeups. The models are in map drawers which pull out to reveal the collection. The drawers keep off the dust and sunlight and preserve the models. I have larger early Lesneys in cabinets, and boxes and accesory packs in other displays or storage. Macdonald

Most of the time I can squeeze a new model into it's rightful place, but, You are right! There are times when I have to carefully shuffle until the display works. Of course that usually means I've made a new find and I'm glad to move the models! Macdonald

How True! A new variation gets me back into looking at the collection and enjoying the models. With each new find you must pull out the magnifying glass, the ultraviolet light, the variation catalogs, Nicks web site, and then catalog the find in the computer! Then you get to shuffle the drawers until the next exciting find!! Macdonald
