Few weeks ago I came across a local hungarian site that apparently (just like the bulgarian one, and even the serbian, I still need to find proper sites of another Balkan countries) has few Made in Hungary models being listed from time to time, I am not interested in them personally, but I though I'd share the link...
http://www.vatera.hu/listings/index.php ... ungary&c=0
I will however warn that sometimes sellers would just ignore your questions, don't have PayPal, etc etc..
Do you guys think it will be useful to have some kind of thread about local marketplace sites of the respective country? There are tons of sites a lot better than eBay and full of matchbox on really acceptable prices.

Hi there RacingFreak, thank's for the link, I had a look and what do I find...a red, Hungarian made Matchbox Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II, 39e.
Had I been looking for one, that would have been a result, so again, thank you very much.
With Christmas just round the corner, I might just get it as a gift for "motorman", he adores them apparently...
Regards,

Hello ritchie, a fabulous collection of miniature Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow II models you have there.
This model comes from 1987 and my master listing records 33 versions, but it has not been updated for a while and I think there are at least another 10 examples waiting to be added to it.
I only have 6 examples in my collection.

A noteworthy fact about the Hungarian Matchbox models is that on all models which come with metal baseplates the silver-grey baseplates can be found in a smooth or textured finish:
