You mean the envelope with the folded hood?
My 69c did have that anymore. I bought it as a project car for € 1,-- cause it had a windshield which was as good as new.
I needed that windshield for another project.
But I am ever so curious about your next idea.............

With all this activity going on with the #69er, I had better get out to more toy fairs and start buying up these or they will all go to these customisers...

Thanks for the WIP pics! I'll definitely be saving those, I'm planning on making one of these at some point.
What color you going to paint it??

Finished it this afternoon, pffffff I need a rest.
I might give the roof section a black or dark blue coat of paint later on.

Now here is a mystery, I like the idea of this model and how it came into being, I like the colour Gerrit has used, but I don't think it suits this particular car, why is this so and it goes back to the saying about certain colours suit certain cars!
Take my own real Rolls-Royce, it is Pale Creamy-Yellow and looks stunning, it is the best show stopper car I have owned, but I would not want it on one of my old Vauxhall Magnum cars, just would not look right in my opinion!
I think the model above would look better in Maroon or metallic Red (or better still, in Yellow!), just my opinion, not criticizing what you have achieved Gerrit, just the way I see colours on cars.

Finding the right color is becoming more and more a problem. I have done so many cars and so many colors; it becomes difficult to choose which one to take next. Personally speaking, yellow would not be on the top of my list. The blue I have taken does not come out well in the picture, it is more sea green-ish. But that is my lack of photographic skills.
I guess with a dark colored roof it will do even better.

I made the photos a little brighter...
I guess, my example will get a light grey metallic color and a black roof.
