Hello Antonin Here is my one with-out tags, on a Green Window model. But I wont be taking this apart to show the inner side of the base.

Nice model George, unfortunatelly no one from my Jag with green windows has a base plate without protrusions.

Ghosthunter.
Interesting variation - checked my early (2) grey wheel, clear window Jag - base without protrusions.

Initially thought that this on had no side casting lines, could feel nothing when I ran my finger over the body.
But as Ghostie says, they are there but very, very faint - when I used a lens the lines were visible.

The flash does highlight them - Guess the paint would smooth out the body to the touch.

Hello Tractorboy, your model base must be odd as it seems to have a protrusion on the Left side only
Looking at your base photo again it does look the protrusion on both sides although the one on the right seems very feint to me.

I agree. It is a basepalte
with rather than
without the protusions.

[quote="kay"]The models with clear windows and gray plastic tires some have side casting lines and some don’t; however, all those with the black tires have the side casting lines."
I have one Jaguar which I would (according to the casting line) put in beetwen the the two shown models.

Yes it does have the protrusions - would help if I looked at the correct end of the baseplate

Don't worry Roger, we've all done it, its just our Human side trying to come out, go have a short rest and come bouncing back...
