I have acquired quite a few rare Matchbox this year but one of the ones i got such a buzz from finding was this grey based SF#32 Leyland Petrol Tanker which has the corner cut 'BP' labels from the SF#13 Dodge Wrecker.

It was difficult deciding on my RW Lesney choice for 2015, but I eventually plumped for this - a 32b E-type Jaguar colour trial. This has provenance and can be traced back to the factory. In addition, the wear on the baseplate clearly shows that it never had wheelsets.

For the SF category, I don't seem to have bought much during the course of 2015 (the older I get, the more interested I am in RW and, conversely, the less interested in SF). However, I did buy a nice, first release, SF22 Freeman Intercity Commuter without labels in the correct box.

My RW contribution is this minty #73 Mercury with '1968 Mercury' text on baseplate.

Hi,
Here are my contributions, RW33A with D box and a fantastic SF59A with "Lyons Tea" label.

Great finds. Love the mis-rivet and the "Tea" label on the fire chief car

Come on people! This is a pretty dismal turn out so far!
We've had lots of brilliant finds throughout the year in all categories. Put them forward! PLEASE!

Hugh the forum seems dreadfully quiet at the moment. I would have thought with the demise of Curtis's forum we might have seen a noticeable increase in our membership. We have lost quite a few contributors in the past year which has sadly seen the forum become a pale comparison of what it was a couple of years ago. I hope that some of those who have drifted away will return eventually and rejuvenate this wonderful forum which seems likely to grind down to trickle of occasional posts if the status quo continues
I am compelled to add that it would be extremely helpful if our leader visited more often IMHO, sorry Nick but we need you contributing mate, your posts are a rarity these days.

Yes things are quiet on here hopefully it's just people getting ready for Christmas (not the holidays as some now like to call it )
And I will now be sorting out my entries now the fair year has ended for me

My best of the year has to be the little blue Moggie. Only cost me around 10 bucks so was very happy.
