I have a shelf for genuine error pieces that are this interesting. I hope this one turns out to be a genuine factory done odd model.
I also have a special shelf for interesting re-paints or "Mistakes" which I have bought "As-Is" that I still continue to enjoy with a smile. Either way, enjoy this model for what it turns out to be, and let the kids play with a more modern boring model instead. This older one will always be fun to look at either way......Kwakers

Since nobody else seems to have mentioned it, I want to point out that this model is obviously not a 5c but a late issue 5d with plastic interior and with labels rather than decals.
Those grey wheels are therefore a few years older than the rest of the model.

Clearly manipulated axle-end on the Gpw with vice marks visible on stem of axle.The axle-end on the Bpw is factory.
Sorry about that but at least your kid has something new to bus around. Congrats on your new bundle of joy!
